South Korea’s “teenage ace” of women’s table tennis, Shin Yoo-bin (Korean Air), has secured a medal in every event at her first Asian Games.

Having previously won bronze in the women’s team event and mixed doubles, Shin now has two more bronze medals, giving her a medal in all four events she has competed in at the Games.

In table tennis at the Asian Games, bronze medals are awarded to all semifinal losers without a third place match.

This is the first time Shin Yubin has won a singles medal at an international event.

On October 1, she will face China’s world number one Sun Yingxia in the singles final.
